What do you like about St. Egbert?

“I love the school because it is an extended family to me. The kids are sweet and the support from parents and parishioners make it an incredible place to work!”

What do you like about St. Egbert?

“I love teaching at St. Egbert School.  The sense of family at the school and the promotion of strong educational and Catholic practices are just a few of the traits and practices that set our school on the path to success.  Being able to share my Catholic faith, model and discuss catechism, and include values and faith practices with the students is an uplifting and life-affirming experience.”

Kathy Crowe, Music

Kathy holds a degree from Meredith College with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and Music Education K-12. She has accrued 25 years of teaching general and choral music in public and private schools. Presently, she is the music educator at St. Egbert where she has taught for the last 15 years.

Kathy is married to Roger Crowe, a local attorney, and they have two children, Tres (Roger III) and Morgan. When Kathy is not making music, she enjoys boating, deep sea fishing and traveling. Ask her about the one that got away!

Why do you like teaching at St. Egbert?

“I love teaching at St. Egbert for many reasons. The support of the staff and administration have been wonderful. I love that St. Egbert teaches to the whole student- mind, body and soul. Most of all, I love the students and their enthusiasm for learning. My deepest wish is that I can instill in them a deep love for music performance.”
