Nancy Guthrie, Media/Technology nguthrie@stegbert.org

Nancy has been at St. Egbert for five years. Before coming to St. Egbert School, she taught English/Language Arts grades 6-8 in public school. Why do you want to teach at St. Egbert?

“I love the Christian, collaborative, family atmosphere in which the focus is about what is best for our students.”

Why do you want to teach at St. Egbert?

“I love the idea of teaching at a Christian private school where there are small classes. I already get the sense that there is a family feeling among the staff and community.”

Maggie McGowan
PreK Teacher
mmcgowan@stegbert.org

Maggie is our new Pre-K teacher!  She comes to us from Kimberton, PA.  She graduated from Eastern University in Pennsylvania with a BS in Early Childhood Education.  Maggie taught preschool for 1 year and kindergarten for 2 years.  In Maggie’s spare time, she enjoys Zumba, running, reading, going to the beach, and cheering on her Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles!

Why do you want to teach at St. Egbert?

I want to be a part of a faith community. Growing up Catholic and attending Catholic school, I believe the faith we possess is an important part of my life, and I want to continue sharing my faith through teaching. I can feel the sense of family and community already at St. Egbert, and I’m excited to be a part of it.”
